Man Flu

So, let us recap:
I am being made redundant, someone has broken into my car, smashed the window and stole my Sat Nav System and to top it all I have a rotten cold (and very sexy voice to go with it) otherwise known as "Man Flu"!
Seems like my life is strewn with cow pats from the devils own satanic herds!
So, am I down-hearted??
No way!
I have a lovely family, a wife who loves me, a nice house, caring blog friends and the love of Jesus Christ in my heart!
I am therefore truly blessed! Life is good!
Before the hustle and bustle of work begins I will now visit all your blogs and leave a comment to let you all know that I am still here.

That's what we all love about you, Erik -- you always seem to be upbeat, optimistic, and confident.

There are some of us who should learn a lesson from you...

Oohh!! I'm sick today also. I tried to use a sick day, but my Boss said I overbooked him today and it was not a day I could be sick.

Aregkgahgah!

What a wonderful outlook. I always try to ask myself, "Is it life or limb-threatening?" before I got feeling all sorry for myself.

Bad stuff happens, but we could have it so much worse. Good reminder post!

now this may sound like I have taken leave of my mind but I will share something with you.I use to get sick too.then I saw a teaching on psalm 91.and it changed my life.in stead of going to the doc I would take a shot of psalm 91 ,103 and Isiaih 53.and that was years ago.and I havent had a cold or the other crap.now the simtoms would try to come at frist but I stood strong and they would leave.now I just say here is my shot for the season Lord.and go through with flying colors.my grandkids and kids do the same.Psalm 91 will save you from alot of things.read it once.also psalm 103 and Isaiah 53.my favorite bird is in the psalms.hope you are feeling better.yes we have soooo much to be thankful for.even if all around us wasn,t good.just the fact we have Jesus is worth all.MERRY CHRISTMAS brother and a NEW YEAR filled MORE AND MORE OF jESUS AND HIS BLESSINGS.someone on one of the blogs got a cool christmas wish.it was for a Year of MIRACLES.THATS WHAT WE ALL NEED.

Okay, this is getting absurd! Anyone not sick, please raise their hand. Anyone? Anyone in ANY country not sick?

I commend you for counting your blessings and not the 'poor old mes' - nonetheless colds are no fun, just hang on, health is on the way! ec
