IKEA strikes again

Since my DVD, Video and CD collection is constantly expanding I felt the need to visit IKEA to buy some shelves and attempt to put them up!
I think I did quite a good job! What do you think?

Now that I have more space I also have a good excuse to buy some more DVDs.
Any suggestion of good films I should get??

I absolutely LOVE IKEA. Unfortunately, we don't have one close by. You did a wonderful job and that work area looks awesome. I'm jealous. One of my favorite movies, because I'm a kid at heart, is "Holes," written by Louis Sachar. Thanks for the mention.

I recognize the Ikea desk too. I was thinking of getting one just like it before I got this one, also from Ikea.

I love IKEA, and we have tons of "Billy" bookcases throughout out house.

BTW, you missed me on your list of participants for the baby/youth photos.

Swampy - Thanks for the compliment and the film suggestion! I shall check it out!

Anvilcloud - Nice one, mate!
Aren't we just the D.I.Y. gurus (not to speak of the fact that we are also extremely handsome!). :-)

Heather - Thanks for the signing up, I have added you to the list!

Desert Songbird - How could I have possibly overlooked you???
(Beating himself over the head with medium-sized sticks).
My apologies! Have now added you and I am looking forward to lots of cute pictures!

I forgot to say I love your design. Ikea is brilliant I live about 2 miles from the Bristol one so its easy for us to pop in.

I am a huge IKEA fan as well, they just decided to build one in Charlotte (about 3 hours from me).

I am in for Monday...

If you want a movie you can watch more than once (the main reason I normally only buy music DVDs) get 'Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" starring Steve Martin, Judy Davis, and a host Stars on footage from old B&W movies.

We like Open Range, Mulan, and You've Got Mail.

Very nice! Are they still staying up on the wall? ;) You can come over and install some here :)

I'm an organizing freak and stopped on my way back from work today to buy more storage containers, LOL.

You did a great job! I need more space. The last DVD I bought was Pirates of the Caribbean 2 just to make sure there was plenty of Depp in the house. I used to collect more but.....I do collect Disney Classics, first on VHS, now on DVD and I buy my animated faves like Ice Age 2 so the kids have plenty of fun stuff to watch when they visit.

Chrisb - Hey, we should come and visit you on our way to Devon (don't panic, I wouldn't do that to you :-) YET)

Amy W - My wife and I used to constantly fall out in IDEA because I hate crowds but now we have one at our door, we go at 9 o'clock at night and there is nobody there! GRREEAATT!!

Willowtree - Thanks for that! I will look into it! We do like Steve Martin.

Vicki - I have seen Mulan and You've got mail but not Open Range, so I will have a look at that.

Sally Lomax - You are very nice and I am not quite as clever as you might think :-)

Momto3cubs - Haha, yes you might well ask!! I don't know how but they are still up there!! I rock!!

Deana - Yes I got plenty of Depp and also both Ice Age DVDs. They are NOT for the kids but for us!! Yes, I know . . Kids at heart!!

Mreddie - Funny . . that is exactly what my wife said!! Oooh, you women are soooo suspicious!!

Your shelves look great!

I will be posting my Fun Monday photo today... I am at school tomorrow night and probably won't be able to hit the computer all day.

If I buy some shelves at Ikea would you hang them up for me? There is nothing that equals the frustration of putting together what they pack in those evil flat boxes.
