Confusion in the Heavens

It's springtime - no wait - autumn - no, it's . . winter - oh, I give up!!

Yes, the weather here in good old England has gone bonkers! After nice warm days with plenty of sunshine and daffodils sprouting forth everywhere we suddenly wake up to snow, hail, temperatures struggling to climb and strong winds (and that even without a night on the beers and a vindaloo!).
We don't think it's funny, as we have visitors coming today from Estonia and it would have been nice to show them the sights in a warmer climate.
Our neighbours are also not laughing, having received an extra entrance to their garden without asking for it, courtesy of a tree snapping off in the wind!

There are always people walking their dogs down there and we can only thank the Lord that nobody got hurt or killed!
Talking about the Lord . . . could we please have some warmer weather?!?!
Thanks!!

Pray that prayer long enough, and it will be answered.

Ye gads, what a mess. Our weather has been strange of late as well, though not nearly as drastic. We went from cool to very warm, too warm for this time of the year. We're expecting more seasonal temps today and tomorrow, thankfully.

WHEW - close call. I'm glad no house or person was destroyed!!! A fence is easily replaceable in the long run.

Sounds like March to me! Always a crazy month.

Right now it's very warm here--60 degrees Farenheit.

I completely understand you in regards to this subject! Just last week we had our temps get up to 70 degrees and then suddenly a BLAST of snow (about 4-6 inches in the city). I don't know what season it is anymore.... LOL. :)

A vindaloo? Somehow, I think I'm supposed to know what that is...but I'm clueless! Help a Neophyte out??

Hello ERIK!

Hope you and the family are doing well. I completely understand your shock at the insane weather. Like the novelist, I live on the east coast and two weeks ago we went from beautifully warm weather to one of the worst snow storms of the season.

Global warming anyone...?

We are having the same sort of weather here... Yesterday was glorious. Sun, flowers and lots of time outdoors. Today is cold and dark and my parents got a bit of snow.

I wish the weather would make up it's mind. I've put away my sweaters twice now only to have to bring them back out. Sheesh.

That is crazy! NY is having it's share of wacky weather. The other day it was 77 degrees and then the next day the high was only 51. I can't understand... :O
