Jesus and His Followers at the Theme Park

Last Saturday about 25 young people from our church including 4 drivers set off early in the morning to have a fun day out at Alton Towers, Englands main Theme Park followed by a Christian Concert in the evening.
It was a great day and we met old friends from other churches in our area which we hadn't seen for some time.
Here are the pictures:

Alton Towers - Christian Concert
Ever seen 6000 people take their shoes off as the band sings:
"Take off your shoes, you're standing on holy ground!"?

Yup! I am grateful to be a Christian, saved by the grace of God!

Incredible photos again, Erik. I got to "ride" the rides through your experience.

So...did you take off your shoes?

This looks such a good day out. I've never been to Alton towers but the rides look similar to some of the disney ones. You take such wonderful photos it feels like you're there. Not sure about Oblivion!

Your rides are different from ours; I enjoyed seeing them. Gosh, it's been a while since I've been on a roller coaster.

6000 people with their shoes off? Whew!

Your pictures are fun though I have a confession about the first picture. I thought the ride looked like a huge device to torture the Christians. However, I can tell by the smiles that all had a good time.
