Bugs! You're going down!
Since we have not had a winter to speak of this year, everybody is suffering with illness due to the fact that no bugs have been killed off at all.
Crocuses are everywhere, little flies are dancing in the sunshine and neighbours are mowing the lawn.
The world has gone bonkers!!
This morning however, the temperature outside showed a healthy minus five degree Celsius and everything seemed to be frozen in time and place.
This weather shift is said to continue for a few days so here's a word for all those pesky little bugs out there!
"You're going down!!"

And YES isn't it cold!!

I understand what you're saying. In our house -- in the Oxfordshire countryside -- we still have "attack of the flies" going on every day. Before we head for bed, I usually hear John using the dustbuster to suck up the corpses. We can't believe they haven't frozen this week...maybe they ARE living somewhere in the house!!!
Good post!
Janet
We're in a seemingly iterminable deep freeze here. The present -17C is warmer than yesterday.
down? down into the basement, where they will just wait it out and then come buzzing out to make lives miserable.
It's been cold here but nothing like the big chill across the midwest and northeast.
I worry about that every mild winter - what kind of locust will be next.
I took a picture of a crocus myself yesterday (will probably post it tomorrow). I was shocked. It seems a little early for that.
Gorgeous pic. In fact, I think one of my favorite things about reading blogs is seeing the pics from around the world.

thanks big time for stopping on Anna,s blog.God bless you and yours, have a great week.
Hopefully that made a dent in the bug population. We need more cold ourselves for the same reasons - too many bugs. ec
Great, Erik, you just reminded me that our mosquitoes were around a lot longer this year :/. But with our recent cold snap--FINALLY--it at least feels like winter!
Again, another wonderful photo :).
